The Brantford Club has seven rooms that take a meeting, on two floors of the c. 1855 house across from the Court House. Two are built as boardrooms. The Large Boardroom: up to sixty, with the screen built in

The Large Boardroom at The Brantford Club is the room for the training day, the annual general meeting, the strategy session that runs from coffee to the last slide. It seats up to sixty, the projector and screen are part of the room rather than wheeled in, and it has its own washroom, which matters more than it sounds on a full day with one break every ninety minutes. A bar can be set at the back for the reception that follows. Lunch comes up from the kitchen when you break, plated or set as a buffet, and the room stays yours through the afternoon.

The Small Boardroom: eight chairs by the fireplace

The Small Boardroom at The Brantford Club seats eight at one table, with a fireplace at the end of the room and a smart TV on the wall for the deck or the call. It is the room for a board of directors, a mediation, a partners’ meeting, an interview panel, or the conversation two companies want to have somewhere neither owns. Wi-Fi is free through the house, and the door closes on the hallway. Coffee is poured before the first agenda item; lunch, if you want it, is booked with the room.

The kitchen at The Brantford Club runs under executive chef Eric Wasylenky, and it feeds meetings as readily as it feeds dinners: coffee and pastries at arrival, a two-course lunch at the break, sandwiches and soup for the working session that will not stop, or a dinner in one of the dining rooms when the agenda is done. Menus are planned with the kitchen when the room is booked, and dietary requirements are confirmed in writing before the day. All food and drink comes through the Club; a celebration cake may be brought in, with a plating fee.

A meeting room at The Brantford Club is held with a deposit equal to the room fee, and the deposit is not returned if the booking is cancelled inside fourteen days of the date. The room is yours for the booked hours, and an overtime fee applies past them. You do not need to be a member to book a room; the fee is quoted with the date.
